How does iBuddy privacy work?
We found ourselves frustrated with how complex privacy settings have become on some social websites and wanted to create something where you can post with confidence that only the people you want to see something will see it. We conduct so much of our lives, both personal and business, online that the mantra of "if you don't want the whole world to see it, don't post it" is no longer good enough.
So we have super-easy privacy and sharing settings. Never again share something with your close friends only to find that your boss and/or mother have seen it coming up in a search engine.
For location based services, we never reveal your actual location (and this is why we do not show exact distances to the people around you) so that you can be available for potential new buddies in your town without anyone being able to find out your exact location, unless you want to reveal it to them.
What are iBuddy Credits?
iBuddy Credits enable users and businesses to purchase products and services within the iBuddy platform such as premium web templates to showcase user profiles and business listings, which allow members to browse a large database of fun & business themed templates in various categories.
iBuddy Credits give you access to the iBuddy Pro package.
iBuddy Pro users will have the ability to see who has viewed their profile along with detailed statistical information about how they arrived at their page too (dependant on privacy settings of the visitor).
iBuddy Pro users will also get priority access to VIP discounts and offers, and can take advantage of premium listings within the 'around me' section - allowing businesses and individuals to instantly advertise in real-time based on the demographics of people within a certain location.
Take part in online games and compete against other iBuddy members. Gain access to certain member groups e.g. Dating / Other Specialist Sectors, plus loads of other great things which we hope you'll benefit from.
