iBuddy Ltd was founded in 2011 by Barry Garner, Andrew Cooke and Lewpen Kinross-Skeels. With over 50 years combined experience in commercial software development, the founders came together to create a new social platform which addresses the shortcomings of existing frameworks - namely the complex privacy settings, lack of customization options for user profiles, and the absence of services and management tools designed specifically for businesses to promote their products and services in a professional manner. All of these we feel play an integral role when creating a corporate or personal presence on the internet.
Together with our rapidly growing team of passionate individuals and business partners, we aim to produce and deliver a first class service that people feel confident in using when sharing information with other users and businesses around a current location. The privacy and the safety of others is what drove us to create iBuddy as we believe other social platforms in the industry have complicated the whole privacy process resulting in users information being compromised, this will not be a concern for iBuddy members as we have simplified the process and carefully analyzed the mistakes made by others to insure we don't follow suit.
